Elinor Jones established her interior design firm in 1989, offering design services for a discriminating clientele. The hallmarks of her spaces are their understated elegance coupled with a feeling of comfort and livability.
Elinor is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of American InterContinental University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. She also holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English from Emory University and the University of Georgia.
An active professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (A.S.I.D.), Elinor has served on the ASID Board as Professional Development Chair, Residential Design Committee Chair, and as Editor of A.S.I.D.’s InSite newsletter, contributing numerous articles on design topics.
She has successfully completed all three parts of the National Council of Interior Design Qualification Examination (N.C.I.D.Q.) and is a fully registered interior designer in Georgia.
Elinor has traveled extensively in the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Austria , and Spain, exposing her to sophisticated influences that inform her designs. She has the ability to work in many styles, from classic to transitional to contemporary, always keeping the client’s personality, tastes, and objectives as the key factors in the total design scheme.
Elinor Jones has been published in the Atlanta Journal and Constitution, Southern Lady Magazine, Jezebel Magazine, and Season Magazine and Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles. She was the featured designer on a recent HGTV Designers' Challenge program (available on HGTV’s website as Elegant and Functional Great Room DSC #1211), and her work can also be seen on HGTV’s Website on Designers’ Portfolio.
